Security Services at Places of WorshipMiami-Dade
Lets volunteer security guards at churches, synagogues, mosques, and other houses of worship carry firearms without obtaining a state security-guard license. Previously, anyone providing armed security — even unpaid — generally needed a license. This carve-out applies only to volunteers at religious sites.
