Assessment of Homestead PropertyMiami-Dade
Would have lowered the cap on how much a homeowner's assessed property value can rise each year, saving qualifying homeowners money on their tax bills. Florida's Save Our Homes cap currently limits increases to 3% or the inflation rate, whichever is less. This bill would have reduced that ceiling further. It was withdrawn before it was even introduced.
